The weather around here changes daily. And a lot of the time how the weather turns out determines what happens on the farm that day. Especially with the ongoing heat wave starting today and going for the rest of the week things will be sticky for the next few days. Being sticky and also really REALLY hot it’ll at least mean that things will probably move slower and a lot of water and fans will be needed. That being said even in extreme heat farmers do every single possible thing they can to make sure the cows have enough water and are as comfortable as they can possibly make them, even when the farmers themselves are most likely not going to be comfortable at all.
Besides the heat another weather determiner is always the rain or overall precipitation. When it rains it means less time to plant the crops or to get the other outside chores done. It also means when bringing cows in from outside for a little bit everyone gets a bit wet. And of course in the winter and the snow it’s cold and freezes and breaks things, but that’s a different story. I’m not really sure where I’m going with this but it’s the only thing I could think of today so I guess I’m done for now.
