Have you ever sat back and thought about how different your life would be if one single event in your life hadn’t happened? I was talking about this with my dad just last night about how different my life would be if I hadn’t looked at Linebacks at the fair in the summer of 2011 and decided right there that I wanted one myself. If you’re not quite sure what a Lineback is I would suggest you look them up on Google Images and I also put a picture on the bottom of my Katy, who like I think I’ve mentioned before is my first cow and who happens to be a Lineback.
If it hadn’t been for the fair that summer and if Katy had never been born or had been born a boy or we hadn’t been called by the original owners of her so many things would have been different or would be different now. If any of the things that were simply circumstances that put together my life I don’t even know where I would be right now. That’s how big of an impact dairy farming and showing cows has had on me. If it hadn’t all started way back then there are so many people I wouldn’t know. For all that I know I might not even want to be a writer, or go to the same college that I do, and I definitely would not be writing this blog. And this is why even if a person doesn’t realize it at the time circumstances are important especially when you look back later and realize you have no idea where you’d be without them.
